Cawarden, Crewe City Centre Dust Suppression

UK attachments and Dust Suppression specialist Inmalo recently supplied specialist contractor Cawarden with the MB SC40SS Dust Cannon for their Crewe City Centre demolition project.

The MB SC40SS is a self-contained skid unit with onboard diesel generator and water tank.  Inmalo added MB to their product range 18 months ago after research suggested that demolition contractors required more configuration choices when considering effective dust cannon equipment.

Senior project manager for Cawarden, Martin Hurley said, ‘Using the Inmalo supplied MB Dust Cannon SC40SS has really helped minimise dust on this project. As you can see we are in the middle of the city centre clearing old retail units as part of a new urban regeneration project to include a new Cinema, restaurants and shops. From the start of this project we knew that dust was our number one priority to address working in such close proximity to the public. The SC40SS has performed outstandingly and we have been able to move it to where we have hot spots without any issues. The unit has a powerful throw range and is extremely water efficient.

Charles Polak from Inmalo said, ‘We now have a strong combination of the best and most reliable dust suppression systems on the market which provide choice and flexibility when it comes to reach, suppression area and meeting the challenges posed by the availability of water or power supplies. Our MB Dust Control offering has units suitable for indoor and outdoor with ranges from (SC5)5m to (SC150)150m throw, along with a multitude of power, water and trailer mounting options.

Inmalo are also the UK dealer for the Motofog family of diesel powered dust suppression systems. These are highly manoeuvrable systems with throw ranges from 15m to 55m and all self-powered.
